From virtual shopping malls
to online seminar's, the Web is a platform for you to
communicate in ways never thought possible. An Internet
technology called "streaming" is now changing the way
we watch movies and listen to radio.
Streaming allows sound and
video to be transferred bit by bit over the Internet,
while simultaneously allowing the user to watch and listen
to it on their PC. Video can now be viewed as it's happening,
rather than waiting minutes or hours for a file to download.
The process in which the
video or audio is converted is called "encoding," meaning
the video/audio is run through a "codec" (COmpression,
DECompression). This process removes some of the information
from the video or audio before it's transferred, but then
puts it back once it has reached its destination. Webworkz
2000 can prepare and stream your business video presentation,
music video, or family reunions etc...
